When posting anything on the site, in particular forum topics and comments, you will run across your text area.
If you didn't already figure it out, you have a choice between BBCode with the toolbar like AVEN has, or a WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor in the style of a word processor.
BBCode is enabled by default.
I just found out, but yesterday the site was spotlighted on the Queers United blog, owned by AVENite queerunity. I'm about to update our links page to reciprocate.
As a result, we also currently appear on the homepage of Apositive.
We're getting out there! And remember that if you want to link to this site yourself, there are banners and buttons on this page.
