Should we try and drum up more attention from AVEN in order to increase votes?
Either way I will need to get the money before I register the domain, especially now after having to buy another computer. 
I guess that brings me to the next issue. It seems like a lot of people want to contribute, but how do we put that money together??
Should I set up a PayPal donation fund? But that would only cover those with a credit or debit card. Maybe you guys could send round a collection plate at meetups 
I suppose I can email anyone who asks my bank details for direct deposit, too.

Okay, there is a special on domain names until the end of this month at MD Web Hosting. 2 years for $22. This will reduce the cost from $40/year to $30/year for the first two years.
Doesn't leave us much time, however. But-- I am about to get a Centrelink payment on Monday so maybe I can use some of that for the time being?
