Asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction. Like Heterosexuality, Homosexuality, Pansexuality, and other sexualities, it is a description of a persons sexual orientation. As a broad generalisation, asexuality means without sexuality ( 'a' as a prefix, meaning without). Asexuality as an orientation is defined by no sexual attraction to either side of the gender binary ( eg male and female),and by extension, anyone else of which ever gender they are.
